How it is calculated
eDPI = DPI × sensitivity; new sensitivity = eDPI ÷ new DPI
Displayed sensitivity is rounded to at most 12 decimal places; the game may accept fewer.
Preserves nominal sensitivity only within the same game and with all other settings unchanged. It does not guarantee feel, aim, optimal settings, FOV or zoom equivalence, or conversion to another game. No game account, API, game files or professional-player dataset is used.
eDPI is DPI × in-game sensitivity. Dividing that product by the new DPI gives the nominal new sensitivity. This is an algebraic calculation, not a Valve-certified recommendation. Steam API terms are reference material only; this tool does not use that API.
